After traditional mass media, newspapers are regarded as the most ancient forms of mass communication since, for a very long time, the public relied on them to keep up with the most recent events both locally and globally. As a result, print media first applied to newspapers before encompassing periodicals, books, novels, comic books, magazines, tabloids, promotional brochures, and journals.

Broadcasting is the process of distributing audio and video content over an electronic broadcast medium to a geographically distributed audience. It is one of the techniques of mass communication. It was the phrase originally used to describe the practice of spreading seeds over a wide area in fields. As one of the most profitable forms of mass communication, broadcasting appeals to both the visual and auditory senses, making it simple for even the most uneducated people to get news.

Radio and television were invented centuries after newspapers were utilized as the first mass medium. During the war, the radio (invented by Guglielmo Marconi in 1890) served as the public’s main source of news, sports, and entertainment information. Afterward, television became the most efficient form of mass communication since it was mostly utilized for the distribution of news, live events, and other forms of entertainment.
